In a world where Bella Swan is never born, everything in Forks is different. The tensions between the European covens is growing, and the desire for power has spread across the Atlantic. A powerful coven from New Orleans is determined to become the rulers of the vampires in the new world. But with the Olympic and Denali covens in their path, the Orleans coven will do whatever it takes to gain control.
Amidst the plays for power between the covens, certain humans exist who know the truth of the darkness.
