General

* As per always, respect goes a long way. So respect your fellow players and realize that a conflict between characters needs to stay in game, while a conflict between players needs to stay off my boards.

* Lyralon Weyr is a mature game. Sex does occur and may result in pregnancy. That being said, please make it clear when mature content is going to be used in any thread.

* One account per character, and one OOC account per player. This is to make it easier for everyone to keep track of. Each OOC player will get their own sub-board in the Prewritten Scrolls where their accepted character threads will be moved. Please use these to keep track of any changes to your character. Name changes (ie. from Trevor to T'vor) will be handled by the admin.

Creating a Character

* Please be aware of which characters need a Sample Post. See Here.
* If you don't need a sample post, you can begin playing immediately.
* Otherwise, please provide all the information asked for.
* Also note that Candidates and Weyrlings are not being accepted as characters. This means that your character should have a purpose in life. Characters will become Candidates based on activity.

Game Play

* No power playing/god moding- if you don't know what that is please ask.
* I'm not going to tell you your post must be in third person, past tense, but please realize this is the easiest type of post to respond to. It's easy to go from "I ran around." to "She/He ran around."
* It's not nice to disappear. Please let us know when you're going to be absent, and for how long you think you're going to be gone. Otherwise, you will be deemed inactive after 1 month and any high ranking characters will be put up for adoption.
* NPC's are allowed, but no brown/bronze/gold rider NPC's are allowed. Similarly, you can't have other high ranking NPC's, (ie. Master Crafters, Lord/Lady Holders, etc.)
* Most of all, remain active.
