Tkana Weyr
It has been 198 years since the 9th Pass, and the dragons and their Riders are getting ready to fight their ancient enemy, Thread.
To avoid overpopulation and fights in Reden Weyr, a new Weyr was founded 8 Turns ago: Tkana Weyr. Much has happened since that, and the original Weyrwoman is leaving the Weyr again to fulfil her obligations elsewhere, leaving the Weyr in the hands of a young Weyrwoman with no Weyrleader.
To top it off, there are no Oldtimers in this Pass, so no dragon has any experience fighting Thead, and the two Holds, Aradex and Tkana, are both very unhappy with having anything to do with a very new, small Weyr to protect their lush, beautiful area.
How will they overcome these obstacles?

Tkana Weyr is an old Weyr trying to get back on its feet.
We consider ourselves semi-canon with three new dragon colors, but other than that we follow the books - with one exception: Almost nothing happened since 'Dragonflight', though we do have firelizards.
We require no application to join, but we would prefer that you are semi-lit and up and familiar with one or more books.
We consider ourselves a happy little family, and we welcome new ideas, plots and other funny things with open arms, even if most of us happen to be sort of crazy.
